Whitepaper: Optimal space utilisation in a logistics environment

1 minute reading time
Optimaal ruimtegebruik in een logistieke omgeving

The pressure on space utilisation in Flanders is constantly increasing. The population is growing, companies are clustering together more often, and at the same time, the requirements for sustainability and quality of life are becoming stricter. This calls for a fundamentally different way of thinking about space utilisation. This also applies to the logistics sector.
The traditional model, in which a company operates on its own premises, is reaching its limits. This raises the question: how can we use logistics space in a smarter, more intensive and more future-oriented way? Are shared business parks a realistic alternative? Will high-rise buildings become the norm?

During a roundtable organised in collaboration with POM Antwerpen and moderated by LogiVille, a discussion was held with a diverse group of logistics service providers and retailers, designers, property developers, technology suppliers, and policymakers. Together, they put forward a wealth of ideas on how we can use logistics space in a smarter and more future-oriented way.
