NAFT Closing Event

The Path to Sustainable Transportation: Which Energy Option Is Right for Your Business?

Electric, hydrogen, or perhaps an alternative fuel? The options for making your road freight transport more sustainable are growing, but making an informed choice requires an understanding of both the costs and the environmental performance of different technologies. Which fuel or propulsion technology is the best fit for your transport operations?

During the NAFT closing event, VIL and the University of Antwerp will present the key alternatives for more sustainable road freight transport.

More Than Just Electrification

Electric propulsion plays a central role in the transition, but it is not the only solution for every application. HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil), biodiesel, bio-CNG (compressed natural gas), bio-LNG (liquefied natural gas), hydrogen, and e-fuels also offer possibilities, depending on the type of transportation.
Discover the opportunities and limitations of these propulsion technologies and the conditions necessary for their successful implementation.

Insight into Costs and Environmental Performance

What impact do alternative fuels have on your costs and CO₂ emissions? With the NAFT TCO tool, you can compare the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and well-to-wheel emissions of various technologies. Through concrete scenarios and customizable parameters, you’ll gain insight into the financial and environmental impact of your choices and make more informed investment decisions.

Discover which solutions are feasible today, what future prospects they offer, and how to choose the right fuel for your transportation needs.

Sign up and take the first step toward more sustainable and cost-efficient freight transportation.
