  • Case study – part 1 – optimisation of a conventional warehouse
    • Presentation of a low-efficiency warehouse operation
    • Possible optimisation options – group work
    • Presentation of the proposals by the group leader
    • Project results in practice
  • Automation and digitalisation – the rapid evolution of new technologies (sensors, algorithms, digital twins, AI, etc.) and their areas of application

Day 2

  • Guided tour of the LogiVille demonstration centre – discover innovative solutions
  • Case study – part 2 – new technologies, additional opportunities
    • Scaling up the optimisation developed on Day 1 – group work
    • Presentation of proposals by the group leader
    • Discussion of the proposals
  • To automate or not to automate
  • Automation, non-automation or the sensible integration of partial automation – how to make the right choices

Paul has spent his entire career in the logistics sector. He started out as a logistics manager at Carrefour (then known as the GIB Group), but for the last 25 years he has worked as a freelance consultant and project engineer, specialising in warehousing.
